Pongcast TV Episode 01 - 2011 European Championships

So here it is!  The first episode of Pongcast TV!  I discuss some table tennis related news and cover the men's team event at the 2011 European Championships.  Due to time constraints I couldn't cover the women's side, but hopefully as I get the hang of doing these shows I can manage the show time better.  I hope you enjoy it and please let me know what you think!

Excellent Show! Good mix of news and matches. I suggest you record on a separate source and then put them together, because every time you are commenting there is a high pitch hum. It could be a easy fix in the mic settings or when you are editing. All in all, fabulous work!

Thanks for the kind words, I really appreciate it! Believe it or not, I actually did record separately and did some noise removal and EQ on it, so that should tell you how bad the original was. I've gone through 3 different mics and returned them for different reasons. I kind of got discouraged from mic shopping and ended up using the built in mic, but I'll look around again.

great job, much appreciated! I know how much work and time that must of taken.

Hi Jason, Have enjoyed your pongcast. My experience with mics is that the ones with internal power source (battery) work best.

Thanks for comments, and I really do appreciate the acknowledgement of time that went into this. I was surprised myself as I worked on it. And thanks for the tip Rob, I'll look into it!
